Your body’s ability to heal is greater than anyone has permitted you to believe. -Unknown
Are you ready to feel really well again?
Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a natural approach that benefits by reducing pain, increasing mobility of joints, tissues and fluids, and improving overall health and function of the body, mind and spirit.
People come to me for all kinds of reasons ranging from general wellness including, ‘I just don’t feel right,’ or very specific (and sometime extreme) diagnosis.
One of the beauties of CST is that it meets the body where it’s at in this moment. Treatments may be similar, and no two are ever the same.
It can also be beneficial where other methods may not have been successful. Because CST works so closely with the central nervous system, its beneficial for treating most any dysfunction that can arise in a body.
Based on years of experience, I generally recommend three treatments to start. This usually will be enough to get the results you are looking for. After this, once a month or so, another session would be advised to help keep your body optimized.
Why choose Karen?
Since 2002, Karen has been specializing in Craniosacral Therapy. She is now trained through the Advanced levels with The Upledger Institute.
As a Visiting Therapist in the Intensive Program at The Upledger Institute from 2004 to 2009, she worked alongside of several top craniosacral therapist, including the pioneer of CST, Dr Upledger. Her skills treating unusual and/or difficult cases were honed during her time there.
Karen continues to pursue her training and education with other outstanding educators in CST and other health and integrative fields. Her clients are still her best teachers.
Types of Treatments

***Starting with three sessions is recommended if you are coming for a specific illness or dysfunction. This will give us the opportunity to see how well you respond to CST and give your body the time it needs to facilitate changes to your situation. Each of us is unique. You may need more or fewer sessions to obtain your desired results. You will have the decision on how best to proceed with your treatment.
Extended Treatment Session
Two or more continuous hours (with breaks as necessary) up to a 5-hours in one day
2 hour treatment = $240.00 with each additional hour billed at $100.00
Intensive Programs (IP’s) are unique, custom programs. Typically they are set up for someone who has a severe injury, disability, or need of healing. Because of the impact that this can have on a family, we invite up to two family members to participate.
They are full day programs beginning with a group meeting then approximately 5 hours of table time for the person with the injury. The other family members will also have a private CST session and be taught some basic CST and other techniques to assist their family member.
IPs are usually held for 3 to 5 days with multiple therapist. And often held with multiple clients.
Pricing is based on the number of therapists, special needs of each client, number of days and location.

I recommend scheduling your appointment in advance. Typically its 2 weeks to get an appointment.
Traveling out of the area and custom programs may require longer lead time.
As a professional musician, it is so comforting to have Karen and her amazing talent for craniosacral therapy to help me deal with the physical and mental demands of my work. When my shoulder froze the day before a performance and I couldn’t lift my arm to play, one session with Karen was enough to free it up and I was back at work the next day and performing.Nadine Trudel
Karen will not diagnose any illness, disease or dysfunction. CST has a proven record of success as a stand alone therapy. Some clients and physicians choose to use CST along with other modalities and/or allopathic medicine. There are rare cases where it should not be used exclusively as a substitution for medical treatment.
